Sivakarthikeyan’s sci-fi film Ayalaan has been in the making for almost four years. But the film has been haunted by crises that have delayed its production. Now, the latest is that an entertainment company is desiring repayment of Rs 5 crore that the movie producer had allegedly borrowed from them. And has got a stay against the release of the film.

Ayalaan (Ayalaan) is a Tamil sci-fi film written and directed by Ravi Kumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame and produced by 24 AM Studios and KJR Studios. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Isha Koppikar and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The music is composed by A R Rahman, while cinematography and editing are controlled by Nirav Shah and Ruben respectively.
Movie Plot:
The movie Ayalaan, this story is about a lost alien from a planet. It seeks help from a human to go back to his hometown. While things got harder the alien went back to its hometown because the human also himself went to the stranger’s hometown. The production of the movie had stalled after the production house ran into financial issues. After that issue has sorted out, production resumed in January 2020, with KJR Studios coming on board as co-producers.
Release Date Details:
However, the shooting had to be stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the makers were able to wrap up the total shoot only by January 2021. The producers are yet to announce the release date of this visual effects-intensive film. But recently the filmmakers announce the Ayalaan movie released in April 2022.
