We had earlier noted that director Deekay of Yaamirukka Bayamey and Kavalai Vendam fame is working on a movie that stars Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra, Janani, and Raiza Wilson. It’s currently known that the movie has titled Karungaapiyam. Speaking about the movie, Deekay says, Karungaapiyam is a horror movie and we went with that title as it around cracks to dark tales. The movie will have various genres of horror, unlike Yaamirukka Bayamey which was a horror-comedy, and Kaatteri that’s a fairytale-based horror-comedy. The movie also has a fifth heroine, Noyrika from Iran.

With Kaateri yet to release, Deekay’s following, fourth directorial has stood revealed to exist titled Karungaapiyam, and once again includes a skillful young cast featuring several notable names starting with leading actresses Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra, Janani, and Indian-Iranian Noyrika Bhatheja. Who is living hooked by comedy superstar Yogi Babu? Parvathy Saran and Abishek Raaja, with Pyaar Prema Kaadhal heroine Raiza Wilson also said to be occurring in a surprise role.
Deekay took to Twitter on Friday to reveal the Karungaapiyam first look poster. Expectations are high for the upcoming happening as has set in the horror-comedy genre. Which had earlier proven to be successful for the filmmaker considering his Yaamirukka Bayamey was set in the same genre, including the yet-to-be-released Kaatteri.
Release Date Details:
The movie will be about how the lives of five different people collide. We have wrapped up the film and it’s in the post-production stage right now. Recently the moviemakers have to decide the movie release date details. The will be going to release on 15 Aug 2022 on the occasion of Independence day.
