Silambarasan’s latest production and entertainment enriched movie, the highly anticipated Venkat Prabhu-directed, Maanaadu, is nearing completion. Dubbing work has already begun under the banner, V House Productions, which Suresh Kamatchi bankrolls. Apart from STR, the film also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead, as well as SA Chandrasekhar, SJ Suryah, Premgi Amaren and Karunakaran, among others. Last month, the first track from the film was released, Meherezylaa, featuring Yuvan, Rizwan, and Raja Bhavatharini. And fans are already falling in love with the song. Meanwhile, it appears that the final schedule is being finalized.
Suresh, the producer, took to social media to publish a photo from an airport (shooting spot). According to reports, the final itinerary is being finalized in Hosur. Stunt Master, Silva, has also appeared in a recent video that has gone viral.
Venkat Prabhu directed, and Suresh Kamatchi produced Maanaadu (aka) Manadu, the Tamil political action thriller film. Simbu plays Abdul Khaaliq, and Kalyani Priyadarshan plays Kalyani, with SJ Surya, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaren providing assistance. Yuvan Shankar Raja wrote the soundtrack, while Richard M Nathan and Praveen KL handled cinematography and editing, respectively.

Vaalu is a romantic action-comedy film starring Silambarasan and Hansika Motwani, with supporting parts played by Santhanam, VTV Ganesh and Brahmanandam. The film is a love story between the two leads, with Hansika Motwani’s character already betrothed to another man, while the titular character, played by STR, seeks to win her over. Vijay Chandar co-wrote and directed the film.
Manmadhan is a romantic thriller film featuring Silambarasan, who portrayed a dual part for the first time in his career, as well as Jyothika, Sindhu Tolani, Santhanam, Atul Kulkarni, and Goundamani. After his adored identical twin brother commits suicide, the titular character, played by STR, goes on a dark path and becomes a serial murderer to avenge his brother’s death. AJ Murugan directed and wrote the picture, which was a huge box office success.
Vaanam is an anthology film starring Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, Saranya, Sonia Agarwal and Santhanam in an impressive ensemble cast. The story follows the lives of five people who have followed various paths of life, and who represent the five natural elements of ether, air, water, fire, and earth. The film depicts how their fortunes collide on New Year’s Eve in a Chennai hospital. It’s a Tamil remake of the Telugu film, Vedam, which the filmmaker also directed. Krish co-wrote and directed the film.
Silambattam is a Masala film starring Silambarasan in dual roles, as well as Sana Khan, Sneha and Prabhu. Premji Amaren makes a cameo appearance alongside Nedumudi Venu, Santhanam, Kishore, and Ponvannan. The story follows STR’s character as he embarks on a journey to discover the truth about his past and the link to a long-forgotten conflict between two groups in his town. S Saravanan, a cinematographer-turned-director, made his directorial debut with this picture.
Silambarasan and Trisha star in the key roles in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, a romantic drama film. The film follows the problematic connection between STR’s Karthik Sivakumar and Trisha’s Jessie Thekekuttu, a Hindu Tamil boy and a Malayali Christian girl, respectively. Gautham Menon directed and co-wrote the film. In 2020, Menon directed a short film and sequel titled Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn, in which STR and Trisha again reprised their roles.
Yenbadhu Achcham Madamaiyada
Achcham Madamaiyada is a romantic action thriller film starring Silambarasan and Manjima Mohan, as well as Baba Sehgal who portrays a corrupt cop. The story follows a young man on a road trip with the lady he loves until he is involved in an accident that causes everything to spiral out of control. Gautham Menon wrote and directed the movie.
